La Otra Orilla - Rite, February 16th, 2025

Rite is the powerful and explosive new flamenco show from Quebec-based multidisciplinary group, La Otra Orilla. Combining dance, voice, guitar, and percussion, these four artists will take the audience along in an energetic and poetic journey of flamenco. At the heart of this artistic proposition lies an intimate conversation where each element reveals itself while defining the other.

As You Like It, or The Land Acknowledgement, March 8th, 2025

With this subversive updating of the Bard’s classic, cultural provocateur Cliff Cardinal aims to surprise and provoke. The title of William Shakespeare’s As You Like It holds a double meaning that teasingly suggests this is a play to please all tastes. Is it possible? The show exults in dark humour, difficult subject matter, and raw emotion.

Josephine, A Burlesque Cabaret Dream Play is an international award-winning one-woman biographical musical that combines cabaret, theatre and dance to tell the story of the iconic Josephine Baker, the first African-American international superstar and one of the most remarkable figures of the 20th Century.

Steve Patterson is: Patterdad, March 13th, 2025. 

From being outsmarted to being outrun to being outnumbered (current household rankings have him clinging to 6th place in importance behind his wife, his daughters, their dog, and whichever stuffed animal is most essential in any given week), Steve struggles to come to terms with the responsibilities of being a dad. But fortunately for audiences, his struggles are pure comedic delight.

The Umbilical Brothers: The Distraction, April 12th, 2025. 

The Umbilicals take the energy of live performance and the spectacle of cinema and smash them together into a new show performed simultaneously on stage and on the big screen. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen, and nothing they’ve ever done, and it will blow your mind way more literally than you are expecting. The Distraction: enabling your screen addiction.

Epidermis Circus, February 15th, 2025.

A spicy puppet cabaret, hosted by a sassy grandma who keeps trying to steal the show. This beautifully twisted variety show is performed by Ingrid Hansen, who also puppeteers for Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock. Watch behind-the-scenes as Hansen performs a live puppet film, animating cheeky vignettes in the palm of her hand and projecting them onto a huge screen. 

Please note, this show contains occasional use of strong language, depictions of violence, mature themes and subject matter. Intended for mature audiences ages 14+.

New North Collective - Circumpolar Soundscape, February 9th, 2025. 

The New North Collective is an ensemble of Northern Canadian performing artists from Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavik/Nunavut featuring singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, spoken word, and throat singing. Together, they explore their ideas of north - from the land to the people; from the traditional to the contemporary.
