Hailing from Halifax, Wintersleep has been quietly reshaping the contours of modern rock since their inception in 2001. Anchored by frontman Paul Murphy, alongside Loel Campbell’s hypnotic, propulsive drumming and Tim D’Eon’s shimmering guitar and piano work, the band conjures a sound that is intimate and adventurous. Their catalog, anchored by critically celebrated albums Untitled, Welcome to the Night Sky, Hello Hum, The Great Detachment and In the Land Of, occupies a distinct place in the Canadian indie rock canon. 

In 2026, Wintersleep brings a promise of immersive live performances — with catchy hooks, exciting instrumentation, and all the charm that you’d expect from a Halifax-born rock group…Wintersleep is an act that will leave you stomping your feet and chewing on the lyrics.
