Nikki Payne hails from Nova Scotia and is known as one of the smartest and funniest acts around. A two-time Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Stand-up, Nikki has appeared on CBC’s Made in Canada and CTV’s Comedy Inc., thrilling audiences at the Montreal, Las Vegas, and Halifax comedy festivals. Nikki’s comedy is packed with raw honesty—she’s not shy about sharing stories of growing up poor, family gunfights, and her ongoing love affair with her bathroom renovations. Matt Wright is a two-time JUNO Award-nominated comedian, writer, and actor whose career has taken him from coast to coast. He’s opened for comedy legends like Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, John Mulaney, and Theo Von, and has performed at major festivals including Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, and Halifax. Matt is a regular on CBC radio’s The Debaters, has written for six seasons of CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes, earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination, and multiple episodes of Still Standing.
