‘Being yourself can be the hardest thing to be.’
Join Solo Chicken Productions, The Spirit Project, a group of artists with and without intellectual and/or physical disabilities, Autism and/or dual diagnosis for their latest opus, Magic Beans: The Musical. Devised, written and performed by The Spirit Project artists, featuring direction by Lisa Anne Ross, an original score by Kylie Fox, videography by Strike Pictures and choreography by Sydney Hallett, this is their most ambitious project yet.
Buckle up and get into party mode! Welcome to Beanopia for a story of friendship, courage, and generosity, in a world of partying pirate ships, persnickety dog manors and an opulent but stifling castle with a very special apple tree. Meet our iconic characters, the selfish princesses and their mother who doesn’t know (aka the queen), the cowardly pirates and their backwards speaking duck Oreo Jr. and of course, the rude ballroom dancing dogs. Throw in some magic beans and Kevin’s ex-girlfriend Dee and you find yourself on the journey of a lifetime. Sip on a refreshing parrot punch or a booty margarita, sit back and enjoy.
