Janitorial/Maintenance Worker
Casual; Evenings/nights/weekends as scheduled
Reporting to the Facilities & Systems Manager, the Janitorial/Maintenance Worker plays a key role in the delivery of services to patrons and to clients by maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout our building. Specifically, the Janitorial/Maintenance Worker is responsible for cleaning administrative and public spaces as well as performing light maintenance projects like painting, equipment repair and snow shoveling.
Accountabilities
- Provide janitorial services to the Fredericton Playhouse as specified by the Facilities and Systems Manager.
- Maintain an up to date understanding of the principles of WHMIS, and the meaning of the information on labels and MSDSs.
- Report any maintenance problems encountered to the Facilities & Systems Manager
- Communicate with the Facilities & Systems manager about janitorial supply needs.
- Complete assigned maintenance and snow shovelling tasks

Rate of Pay: $17.25/hour
